When nicotine reaches the brain the person usually feels relaxed and feels slightly euphoric. The effects wear off after several minutes because nicotine has a strong and lasting effect on a person and they may not realize it until much time has passed. People who smoke every day are the people who cannot live without having nicotine in their systems.
The common disadvantages of smoking at pretty common and widely discussed among smokers to convince them to quit and these include, the fear of cancer, teeth yellowing, damaging of lungs, etc. But there are many other physical and nervous effects nicotine places on the human mind and body.
